 etitive edge. While 92% of CFOs surveyed by Gartner in 2022 indicated that 
 they plan to increase investment in information technology, however, most w
 ill start with the technology implementation while ignoring the imperfect d
 ata flowing across their ecosystem.\n\nFor organizations aspiring to be dat
 a-driven, this approach is particularly devastating. Nearly half of all AI 
 projects fail. From inaccurate insights to regulatory risk, organizations a
 re exposed to new and increasingly costly consequences.\n\nTake, for exampl
 e, the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. As hospitals around the globe w
 ere inundated with sick patients, the AI community rushed to develop models
  to help hospitals diagnose and triage patients faster, bringing much-neede
 d relief and support to the front lines. However, these predictive tools fa
 iled to deliver on their early promise. Some AI tools were potentially harm
 ful. Many of the problems were traced back to the poor quality of data used
  in developing and training these tools.\n\nIn this talk, we will:\n1. Disc
 uss key challenges that must be addressed to realize a return on investment
