 ill present a draft of a Data Governance Council update presentation a
 nd discuss the items involved. \n\nProviding transparency on the dimen
 sions of DG allows an Executive Council (EC) the opportunity to understand 
 the health and well-being of the overall data ecosystem. The Council i
 s critical in removing roadblocks and barriers. Providing additional insigh
 t allows Leadership to make decisions confidently when it comes to strategy
  and budget. \n\nThe DGO coordinates the updates and brings the variou
 s leaders together to report their progress and metrics. The council member
 s are made aware of adverse data events and their causes and have a clear u
 nderstanding of the health and well-being of the data pipeline, access, sec
 urity, and consumption layer.\n\nThe executive council's sponsorship an
 d commitment are critical to the success of establishing a DGO program. Und
 erstanding the priorities, roadmaps, and risks will allow leaders to ask th
 e right questions and take proper action to ensure successful implementatio
 n.\n\nBy reviewing a sample of an update to the DGC with leaders, I hope to
  inspire my audience to be able to demonstrate competency in their goals, t
 ake proper actions to demonstrate their commitment and ask the right q
 uestions to the teams and stakeholders. \n
